Shipping Times and Order Processing
At Origine Calabria, we are committed to ensuring fast, safe and carefully handled deliveries throughout Italy and across European Union countries.
Each order is prepared with care, using suitable packaging to protect the products during transport and preserve their quality until delivery.
Order Preparation and Shipping
Once the order has been received, we prepare the parcel as quickly as possible.
Orders are generally handed over to the courier on the next working day after payment confirmation.
Shipments are made from Monday to Friday, excluding national and local holidays.
Delivery Times
Average delivery times are as follows:
Southern Italy and Calabria: 2 working days
Central and Northern Italy: 2–3 working days
Sardinia and remote areas: 3–4 working days
Europe / European Union: 5–7 working days
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, the size of the order, product availability or any delays not directly attributable to Origine Calabria.
As soon as the parcel is handed over to the courier, the customer will receive a notification with the tracking code, useful for following the shipment in real time.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout, based on the weight of the order and the destination.
Indicatively:
Italy: from €6.00, depending on the weight of the order
Europe / European Union: from €11.50, depending on the weight of the order
The exact shipping cost will always be visible before the final confirmation of the purchase.
Cash on Delivery
Origine Calabria does not offer cash on delivery.
All orders must be paid in advance using the payment methods available on the website, such as credit card, PayPal or other payment systems indicated at checkout.
Packaging and Shipping Guarantee
Products are packed using strong and safe materials, selected to protect the goods during transport.
We use boxes, internal protection and materials suitable for shipping food products, paying particular attention to preserving the integrity of the packaging.
The goods travel at our risk until delivery. In the event of a visibly damaged, opened, wet or tampered parcel, we invite the customer to accept the delivery with a specific inspection reservation, indicating the reason for the damage to the courier.
After delivery, we recommend checking the condition of the products immediately and contacting us promptly in case of any issues.
Couriers Used
For national shipments, we mainly work with GLS.
For shipments to Europe and other European Union countries, we use couriers such as DHL and BRT, selected according to the destination and type of shipment.
The choice of courier may vary depending on the delivery area, the weight of the order and logistical requirements.
Incorrect Address, Recipient Absence and Storage Fees
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the details entered at the time of the order, including name, address, house number, postal code, city, province, phone number and any useful delivery information.
If the address provided is incorrect, incomplete or if the recipient is absent after the delivery attempts provided by the courier, storage, redelivery or return fees may apply.
Origine Calabria will still do its best to assist the customer and facilitate the correct delivery of the order.
Shipping of Artisan Panettone
To ensure maximum freshness, our artisan panettone may be prepared to order or shipped according to the availability of the workshop.
After purchase, panettone are generally shipped within 2–3 working days, unless otherwise communicated or in case of specific production needs.
Each panettone is carefully packed using protective packaging designed to preserve its shape, fragrance and quality during transport.
