These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of the products available on the Origine Calabria website and regulate the relationship between the seller and the customer who makes a purchase through the online store.

Before completing an order, the customer is invited to carefully read these Terms and Conditions. By making a purchase on the website, the customer declares that they have read, understood and accepted the conditions set out herein.

Seller

The seller of the products on this website is Origine Calabria, the trade name of a duly registered sole proprietorship.

Subject of the Contract

These Terms and Conditions regulate the online sale of the products offered by Origine Calabria, including typical Calabrian food products, extra virgin olive oil, preserves, regional specialties, artisanal panettoni and other products available on the website.

The sales contract between Origine Calabria and the customer is concluded when the order is confirmed by the system and the related order confirmation communication is sent to the customer.

Products

Origine Calabria undertakes to present products clearly and accurately, indicating, where available, description, ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, format, origin, producer, storage instructions and minimum shelf life.

Product images are for illustrative purposes and may show slight differences compared to the actual product, for example due to variations in batch, packaging, label, format, vintage, artisanal production or producer availability.

Origine Calabria guarantees the integrity and conformity of the products sold, in accordance with the available information and the information provided by the producers.

The customer is always invited to carefully read the product label before consumption, especially in the case of allergies, intolerances or specific dietary requirements.

Product Availability

Product availability is indicated on the website and may vary depending on stock levels, seasonality, artisanal production and supplier availability.

If a product ordered is no longer available after order confirmation, Origine Calabria will inform the customer as soon as possible.

In such a situation, the customer may choose, where possible, between:

• refund of the amount paid for the unavailable product;
• replacement with an equivalent or alternative product;
• waiting for restocking, if expected;
• partial shipment of the order, where possible and agreed with the customer.

We do our best to keep the availability shown on the website up to date, but in some cases variations may occur due to the artisanal, seasonal or limited nature of certain products.

Prices

All prices are indicated in Euro (€) and include VAT, where applicable.

Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are calculated automatically during checkout, based on the destination, the weight of the order and the available shipping conditions.

Origine Calabria reserves the right to change prices at any time. Any changes will not apply to orders already confirmed.

The customer will pay the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.

In the event of an obvious error in the price, description or availability of the product, Origine Calabria reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any amounts already paid.

Payment Methods

Payment for orders must be made using the methods available on the website at the time of checkout.

Payment methods may include, by way of example:

• credit or debit card;
• PayPal;
• Shopify Payments;
• Apple Pay or Google Pay, if available;
• other payment systems enabled on the website.

Payment data is not managed directly by Origine Calabria, but through secure and authorized payment providers.

Origine Calabria does not directly store complete payment card details.

Origine Calabria does not ship with cash on delivery. All orders must be paid in advance using the payment methods available on the website.

Orders

The order is considered received when the customer completes the purchase process and receives the order confirmation by email, SMS or through another contact method provided during the purchase, where available.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered during the purchase, including first name, last name, shipping address, billing details, email, phone number and any information useful for delivery.

Origine Calabria reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in the event of:

• failure to pay;
• incomplete, incorrect or outdated data;
• suspected abuse, fraud or improper use of the website;
• sudden unavailability of products;
• obvious error in the price, description or availability of the product;
• impossibility of delivering the order to the address provided.

In the event of cancellation of an already paid order, the customer will receive a refund of the amounts due through the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipments are made through professional couriers selected according to the destination, the weight of the order and logistics needs.

Orders are generally handed over to the courier on the next working day after payment confirmation, unless otherwise indicated, in the event of temporary unavailability of certain products, periods of high demand or specific preparation requirements.

Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the destination, time of year, product availability, order volume, holidays, weather conditions, strikes, customs delays where applicable, logistics issues or delays attributable to the courier.

After the package is handed over to the courier, the customer will receive, where available, a tracking code to follow the shipment.

Incorrect Address, Absence of the Recipient and Storage

The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the delivery address and contact details provided at the time of the order.

If the address provided is incorrect, incomplete or outdated, or if the recipient is absent after the delivery attempts provided by the courier, any storage, redelivery, address change or return shipping costs may be applied.

Origine Calabria will nevertheless do everything possible to assist the customer and support the correct delivery of the order.

In the case of food products, the customer is invited to collect the package as soon as possible and avoid prolonged storage, in order to best preserve the quality of the products.

Food Products

For food products, information relating to ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, origin, producer, storage and minimum shelf life is based on the information shown on the label or provided by the producer.

The customer is always invited to carefully read the product label before consumption, especially in the case of allergies, intolerances or specific dietary requirements.

After delivery, the customer is responsible for the correct storage of the products according to the instructions shown on the label.

Origine Calabria is not responsible for damage, alteration or deterioration resulting from incorrect storage, improper use, opening or incorrect handling of the package, or failure to follow the instructions shown on the product.

Artisanal Panettoni and Seasonal Products

Some products, such as artisanal panettoni, seasonal sweets or specialties with limited availability, may be prepared to order or shipped according to the availability of the workshop or producer.

Preparation and shipping times may therefore vary compared to products normally available in stock.

Any specific information will be indicated on the product page or communicated to the customer where necessary.

To guarantee maximum freshness, artisanal panettoni may be prepared to order or shipped according to the availability of the workshop. After purchase, shipping generally takes place within 2–3 working days, unless otherwise communicated, in the case of specific production requirements, periods of high demand or temporary unavailability.

Right of Withdrawal

The consumer customer may exercise the right of withdrawal in the cases and within the terms provided by applicable law.

The right of withdrawal, where applicable, may be exercised within 14 days from delivery of the product or, in the case of an order composed of several items delivered separately, from delivery of the last item of the order.

However, for certain categories of food products, the right of withdrawal may be excluded or limited, particularly when the products are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, sealed products opened after delivery for hygiene or health protection reasons, or products that cannot be safely placed back on sale after delivery.

Returns for a simple change of mind will not be accepted for food products that have been opened, fully or partially consumed, unsealed, altered, handled, stored incorrectly or cannot be returned for hygiene, health or food safety reasons.

Any requests relating to intact, sealed, unopened and correctly stored food products will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, in compliance with current legislation.

EU Electronic Withdrawal Function

From 19 June 2026, in accordance with applicable European legislation, consumer customers in the European Union may exercise the right of withdrawal, where provided by law, also through the dedicated electronic function available on our online store.

The electronic withdrawal function allows the customer to submit the request directly from the website, without the need to access a customer account, by providing the data necessary to identify the order and the contract.

After submitting the request, the customer will receive confirmation on a durable medium, for example by email.

Customers who placed the order using only a mobile phone number, without an email address, may access the order management area and the withdrawal function using the link received by SMS in the order confirmation, where available.

The use of the electronic function does not modify the exclusions and limitations provided by applicable law, in particular for certain categories of food products, perishable products, opened products or products that cannot be returned for hygiene, health or food safety reasons.

Order Cancellation

An order cancellation request may be made until the order has not yet been prepared or handed over to the courier.

Once the order has been prepared or handed over to the courier, cancellation will no longer be possible, without prejudice to any applicable rights relating to withdrawal, return or legal guarantee.

Damaged, Defective or Non-Compliant Products

If the customer receives a product that is damaged, defective, non-compliant or different from the one ordered, the customer is invited to contact Customer Service as soon as possible, following the instructions provided on the Returns and Withdrawals page.

To allow a proper check, the customer may be asked to provide the order number, photographs of the product, photographs of the internal and external packaging and a brief description of the issue found.

After verification, Origine Calabria may propose, depending on the case, a free replacement, a full or partial refund, a voucher or another appropriate solution.

In case of visible damage during transport or obvious issues at the time of delivery, we recommend sending the communication within 48 hours from delivery, so that we can carry out the necessary checks and, where appropriate, open a report with the courier.

Legal Guarantee of Conformity

The legal guarantee of conformity applies to products sold by Origine Calabria within the limits provided by current legislation.

For food products, the guarantee applies taking into account the natural duration of the product, storage conditions, minimum shelf life and the instructions shown on the label.

The guarantee covers defects already existing at the time of delivery and does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from improper use, incorrect storage, opening or incorrect handling of the package, failure to comply with the producer’s instructions or subjective characteristics not related to an objective defect of the product.

Limitation of Liability

Within the limits permitted by applicable law, Origine Calabria is not responsible for:

• delays or disruptions attributable to the courier;
• non-delivery caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated addresses provided by the customer;
• absence of the recipient or failure to collect the package;
• storage, redelivery, address change or return costs caused by incorrect data or failure to receive the goods;
• improper use of the products;
• incorrect storage of the products after delivery;
• incorrect opening, handling or alteration of the products or packages;
• failure to comply with the instructions shown on the label;
• temporary interruptions of the website due to maintenance, technical updates or causes not directly dependent on Origine Calabria;
• force majeure events or unforeseeable circumstances that prevent or delay the execution of the order.

It is understood that this limitation does not exclude or limit the mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

Privacy and Cookies

The processing of the customer’s personal data takes place in compliance with applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.

The website may use cookies and similar technologies for the proper functioning of the online store, to improve the browsing experience, for statistical purposes and, where provided and with prior consent where required, for marketing or personalization purposes.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.

In the event of a dispute with a consumer customer, the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer shall have jurisdiction, where provided by applicable law.

For professional customers, where permitted by law, the competent court shall be that of Cosenza.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Origine Calabria reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Changes will be effective from the moment of publication on the website and will apply to orders placed after publication.
